Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Vintner (“Vintner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through our marketing website at vintner.app and the Vintner platform we provide to wineries. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide — when you request a demo, contact us, or sign up, including your name, email address, winery name, and the contents of your message.
  • Account information — if you become a customer, the details needed to administer your subscription and account.
  • Usage and device data — pages visited, referring links, browser and device type, and similar analytics collected automatically as you use our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand how it is used.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule demos
  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Vintner platform
  • Send you service updates and, where permitted, relevant marketing communications
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate — such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), and email delivery — and only as needed to provide our services. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Winery Customer Data

Wineries that use Vintner store information about their own members and customers on our platform. We process that data on the winery's behalf under our customer agreement, and the winery is responsible for it as the data controller. If you are a member of a winery that uses Vintner, please contact that winery directly with questions about your data.

Data Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, managed secrets, and access controls, and we host on enterprise-grade infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of our website or services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
